ACCEPTANCE : THE BEAUTY OF WHAT IS.

The Stoic principle that tells us – Recognize what is under your control and what isn't under your control.   Don't worry about what isn't under your control – it is acceptance.   It is not giving in or rolling over, but accepting what is.   To not accept what is, is pure ignorance. Not accepting what is, is being closed off.   Accepting the circumstances and working within the reality that we find ourselves in creates opportunities and novelty where we can challenge ourselves and do so learn new things so that we may grow and expand in consciousness and in being. If I never accepted anything, I would always be recapitulating what I already knew and understood.   By accepting the unknown, or what is, a tension is created, a spark of inspiration awaits me where I am still in uncertainty and still in the possibilities.   I accept myself for who I am.   I accept you for who you are.   I accept that there is a pain in m...

THE STRUGGLE IS REALIZED.

You cannot heal or be healed until you know what ails you. You cannot fix something until you determine what is broken. Until what bedevils us is realized there is no growth, healing, or progress. We must be aware of our thoughts, feelings, and actions. Especially when communication breaks down! Between partners, friends, family communities and nations if not addressed everything stagnates and festers. Situations go from bad to worse, from the status quo to the status no, real quick and the interested parties become antagonistic. Things back up and then stack up and become constipated then septic and everyone and everything becomes polluted and things begin to break down then deteriorate. If we are not in alignment we suffer and struggle. When our hearts, minds, and wills are not working together they are at odds and we feel the pain. If we cannot accept how things are we suffer and agonize over it and make a bad situation worse and make it that much harder to rectify. Unless th...
